Eligibility:- 8th/10th Pass.
Location: - All India.
Last date: - 08 May 2018.
Age limit: - 18 to 38 years.

Vacancy details of Assam Police Recruitment:-

Total Vacancy: – 135 posts.
Name of post: - Jail Warder.

1) Male - 124 posts.
2) Female - 11 posts.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police Recruitment:-

For Male:- HSLC or Class X passed from a recognized Board + know bi-cycling.

Female:- Must have passed Annual examination of Class VIII or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government.

Salary: – Rs.14000 – 49,000 plus grade pay Rs.5000 per month.

Assam Police Physical standards:-

• Height for Male - 162.5 cm for General/OBC/MOBC/SC and 160 cm for ST (H) ST (P).
• Height for Female - 144.5 cm for General/OBC/MOBC/SC and 142 cm for ST (H) ST (P).
• Chest (Only for men) - Circumference measuring not less than 81 cm when exhaled.

Selection Process: – Selection Will Be based On PST, PET, & Written Examination.

Written Test: - Written test will consist of 75 multiple choice type questions to be answered on an OMR answer sheet. For each correct answer the candidate will get one mark. There will be no negative marks for wrong answers. Total marks for the Written Test will be 75. The question paper will be in English and Assamese.

Syllabus for written test:- General English, General Science, Elementary Arithmetic, Logical Reasoning / Mental Ability, General Awareness/General Knowledge and Current Affairs and India and Assam history.
